I found watching the news from a somewhat educated standpoint interesting, as major newspapers, channel 7 and 9 were very right-wing, yet channel 10 was extremely Labor-biased.

Oh and to everyone who is saying "no more school funding" did you guys know that he was using borrowed money to fund that? Yes, the same thing we are using to help our children now will screw them over when they enter the work force when there older. I'm so glad that is stopped. I could go on and on about how labor is full of monkeys but that would be a waste of time because all you people think about is "faster internet" which was, one again, being funded from borrowed money. |

I don't really label him as a misogynist; going by the definition it would mean he dislikes women altogether. But, he's definitely a **** in my book, and I could give you a bunch of quotes to support that. As long as I'm continuing to live in Australia I don't want someone like him at all in parliament.

Just because he doesn't openly "hate women" doesn't excuse his horribly sexist actions and words towards them. You're right, there is a distinction, but it's a dumb one.

There is a difference between giving someone money when they have intentions to move Australia forward (by getting married and having children) and giving away free money for no apparent reason.
I like how you think interest rates go down when a country is doing good. It's the total opposite mate. As for the "4 cities in the top 10 of most liveable cities", I can almost guarantee the the labor party borrowed money. And the guy who you posted in the picture is an idiot there is no such thing as "good debt" for a country, it means WE have to pay it back in the long run. I guess your not old enough to even pay taxes so you cannot grasp the full concept of what debt for a country is. Australia has decided, and decided right. |

Supposedly, this money is going to encourage resilience and marriage. The beautiful, sacred rite of marriage is going to be something you get paid for. That's just ****ing ridiculous. Hasn't the country survived for about 200 years now without anything like that? Where's the money coming from anyway? Cutting education, healthcare, and things like public transport. You know, things that will lower quality of life, but that's okay because couples have money to get marriage counselling. Wouldn't a better system be to put resources into improving systems like healthcare and education, and improving the economy in the long run in ways other than just cutting funds to important areas? Maybe the precious new couples mightn't need the counselling if they lived in a more stable, healthy environment. |

Australia has a stable economy and once we get rid of car manufacturers it will just get stronger. |

because not everyone thinks he's bad yo. it's mostly the young population who hold that opinion of him. and teachers. they were complaining about the funding cuts today.
