Are they similar to each other? And if you're trying to install some software that doesn't have source available, there's usually a .deb package for Debian, but I haven't seen Gentoo being supported much. Is there a way to make it work anyway somehow? |

Source files are usually always available. If not, downloading binaries is fine too. Gentoo has the best support community. That's one of the main reasons I use it. |
