I can't really see LeBron (or Wade) leaving Miami when you consider the teams that LeBron has been talking to, and I'm sure picking up Granger and McRoberts is (if nothing else) reaffirming to him that the Heat are willing to do things to try and improve the team around him I don't really think LeBron has any interest in playing for a smaller market after having left Cleveland and had a taste of Miami, and I'm sure it's much deeper than just basketball Wouldn't be surprised if Bosh signed with the Rockets because he's always been the third wheel, never been given the kind of credit he saw in Toronto, and kind of tagged along for the past few years that the three have been together - I didn't look at specifics on deals from the Rockets but if they're offering him more money and better contract options then I feel like he'll probably take it If Gasol goes to the Thunder then that's really good for them |

Rumor has it Bosh was offered close to a max contract by Houston, and since Miami got their hands on a good supporting cast and have Wade pretty much secured, both teams could see success if he does go to Houston. Hard to see LeBron going anywhere but Miami, Wade has just as much time left at his ability as James does, and Miami landed Napier who was exactly who LeBron wanted. Cleveland isn't ready for a championship yet, so they won't be able to provide what he wants aside from money, which he's drowning in anyway. Whatever Riley talked to him about, I'm sure he mentioned the fact that Miami's been to the championships four times with him which his other prospective teams can't, except maybe the Mavericks. Doubt he's gonna join a team that's just building up raw talent like Cleveland. Wherever Melo goes, though, might influence a lot of other decisions. If he goes with the Bulls, it could make the East a lot bigger challenge for LeBron. The Bulls would be such a dominant contender to win it all. |

NBA '14 Draft and Free Agency
Carmelo is wasting away the prime of his career. If he ends up resigning with the Knicks he is throwing away a golden opportunity to secure a championship with Chicago. Also Lebron's home in Miami had moving trucks outside of it earlier. Kyrie Irving, Lebron and Andrew Wiggins would be an amazing trio. |

I don't think he's considering Cleveland because of their roster, it doesn't have much to offer yet. Kyrie and Wiggins are pretty damn good, but they aren't seasoned veterans and they just got a rookie head coach. Now, I think it's more for the legacy of returning to Cleveland and because I believe his family said they liked Cleveland. Miami is an aging franchise, but they're still his best bet by far if he wants to play for a ring. If he rejoins Cleveland, they probably still wouldn't be the best team in the East until Kyrie, Wiggins, Thompson and Blatt can blossom and show up which I don't think will happen just yet. |

He's back in Cleveland and I don't think he'll get anywhere with them, it's a really solid young team with Wiggins and Irving, but I think it was just a decision based on him having grown up in Ohio and he's probably tired of the bad guy image and wants to look like the hero that goes back to his home state, etc. ![]() That would help a lot |

god ****ing dammit im a bandwagoner looks like im getting a kyrie jersey Can't wait to see if he can take Kyrie and possibly Wiggins to their full potential now that they (or he?) have a great supporting team. Kyrie was held back really hard due to lack of floor spacing. Maybe he can take Cleveland to their second Finals, but I don't think that they can match up to San Antonio, OKC, or even Indiana and Chicago just yet. In other words, RIP Miami. D-Wade was one of my favorite players ever, sad to see him alone. Maybe he'll show up huge once again now that he's the only superstar. FOR6IVEN tho |

Spurs still got it this year, but I'm hoping OKC or Clippers will take it. Everybody knew Miami needed better point guards and Mario Chalmers could only shoot threes. Lebron is looking to be like KD and Westbrook on that battlefield. I wouldn't be surprised if OKC against Cleveland made it to the finals, but I highly doubt that the Cleveland won't stand a chance this year. |

Bosh staying with Miami... Pat Riley and the Heat still fighting hard. If Napier refines his PG skills, Miami could be at it once more.

Lin agreed to be traded to the Lakers, but Pau Gasol turned down their offer and is looking to play elsewhere... Melo once again reconsidering the Bulls now that the Lakers lost a huge draw and the East got easier for the time being with LeBron in Cleveland, making the Bulls a huge favorite to win the East. Cleveland will probably blossom and show up by 2016, if not this or next year - if they don't acquire Love that is. I still think Wiggins has a good place in Cleveland though. Gasol is considering Chicago and San Antonio, but San Antonio doesn't really need him at all. He could really improve Chicago with their offense and could find a good spot there as well. |

Nice. Chicago won't be getting Melo after all, but they're still looking damn good next year with Gasol. Melo heading back to New York, think he trusts in Phil Jackson more than wanting to play with the Lakers. Also, LeBron's announcement: http://www.si.com/nba/2014/07/11/leb...land-cavaliers Huge respect. |
