Yeah, it was really different from every other platformer at the time. The atmosphere in general and the soundtrack was awesome. It introduced some pretty unique and fun concepts to the genre too, like the whole Gruntila trivia/game show thing towards the end. I thought that was pretty cool. I never played Banjo-Tooie. N64 was definitely the golden era for this genre of games though.
