I think it's ridiculous that such a "top quality" product released something that unknowingly bends. Shows their commitment to their products!  

its made of aluminum, if you think you shouldn't be able to bend aluminum with some force you're autistic. it's the price you pay for a prettier material.

Seems plausible since their tv ad takes a lot of jabs at Apple for going big.

I believe it was real, just had no sponsors and wasn't distributed anywhere yet. It is out in the public, don't know if they will. If its not real, idk.

Well, luckily I don't make a habit of using brute force to attempt to bend my iPhone, so I think I will be okay.

This bend thing is pretty crazy.

Today, I was shopping for few things so I stopped by Apple and Best Buy to check out the iPhone 6.

At the Apple Store, I see some of the iPhone 6 demo units were missing. Apparently people are going to the Apple Store and "bending" the iPhone 6. Then a few minutes later, police officers go inside the Apple Store to talk to someone that recently bent the iPhone 6 and refused to pay for the damages. Apparently this happened ten minutes before I entered the store.

Best Buy, I check out the iPhone 6 Plus because I'm more interested to purchase this iPhone. I check it out and some people tell me "It's a bad phone. It bends", "Watch me to bend this iPhone", "Galaxy is better because it doesn't bend" and so on. Then few minutes later, I leave the iPhone area and I see a parent and a kid bending the iPhone 6 and cops were called.

To be honest I think people are over-reacting. Unless the bending effects your experience, and wasn't done by force.

If it's a small curve, calm down. My phone is missing the micro usb port and it works fine.

Except now you're missing that functionality durr. If you pay as much as you're charged for the iphone 6 plus and it bends in your pocket just by sitting down or something simple like that, I'd say you have every right to be pissy, it's a huge design oversight. Heck! I would!

If it's noticeable while using it, yeah. But from what I've seen it doesn't look nearly as bad as some people emphasize it to be.
