Download Crunchyroll and watch seasonal anime. They are usually 24 episodes long. I am watching Parasyte after reading the manga a while ago and it's epic. Also JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is coming back and I'm also hype for Death Parade.

Most anime are typically only 11-13 episodes long. They barely have much budget for 24 episodes series that's why they are rarer and often filled with 12 episode series for smaller budget to gain profit for bigger projects.


On Topic: You can give Psycho-Pass a try, a darker and mature series about a sci-fi world that runs on a system where technology can basically read your own soul and find out about your intents and potentials. Where criminals or anyone who can potentially harm the public can be tracked down by this system and is enforced upon by the MWSB (the police in this show). You follow the story of the police as they hunt down criminals and one man who is unable to be read by the system and hunts to find more flaws within the system. (my explanation is not the best)

great anime... has got that mystery kill vibe...  

I would recommend Blue Exorcist but I'm not sure how much of a mystery vibe is has if any at all. Good series though.
