Apparently the trailer they released is what it actually looks like on the PS4. Without some of the animations of the characters which is for cinematic effect

no that was the actual gameplay trailer they did behind closed doors. A few youtubers got to see it. That was on a PS4

Nuh uh. If its going to be anything. It will be a battlefield star wars. Now though im very very skeptical since no gameplay footage. But heh, a star wars themed battlefield 2142, im aight with that.

Yea I don't guess it would be bad. I have never actually played Battlefront. Do they have Lightsabers?

Yes in the old games sometimes the best player would have access to a hero or villain depending on their side and that world. Some of the heroes were Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan, and Yoda.  

It's not called SW Battlefront 3 its just SW Battlefront.
Get the title right.  

Remember how good Watch Dogs looked at E3, and that was an "actual" gameplay trailer. I wouldn't get hyped until they release gameplay. Also, it won't even look like that on PC. PS4 will definitely not look like the trailer. It's not just AA. It's the number of objects rendered. Ex:

But I'm not talking about it based just off of the trailer, I'm talking about the actual unscripted gameplay the youtubers saw at some reveal. Coming directly from one of the youtubers who watched it said that it was being played on ps4 and the graphics are almost on par with the scripted trailer that we have seen.
And from what I read the reason why watchdogs didn't look as good was because they dumbed down the graphics so that PC wouldn't completely dominate how watchdogs looked on the old consoles because that would drive them away, and console players were their intended audience because they generally get higher numbers or sales. And they had to cater for old gen because new gen had only just came out and people may have been sceptical about them at first, so for the first few months old gen would still have more players than new gen. Also don't forget watchdogs is running on a massive open world scale with hundreds of ai and events where as battlefront are on singular maps with no ai so they aren't as constrained  

Eww man, no space battles and no clone wars my two favorite, hoping for a dlc!
Even tho i'll preorder it as soon as i can and i'll play too much on it i'm quite disappointed, but well it's not even released, wait and see, gonna train back again on STBF2

Your logic is wrong and you're overestimating the strength of the PS4 and XBone. But believe the hype if you want, it will only end up disappointing. I'm speaking from experience in the past.  

Yeah honestly, I'm nearly as excited for this game now compared to how I was a year ago.

I wish they just remastered SW Battlefront 2.

the trailer wasn't gameplay footage, it even said that in the trailer at the end. All that was is a cinematic.  

Reskin Battlefield's Conquest mode with Star Wars and you get Battlefront 3. All infantry and vehicle combat is going to take place in the same maps.
I just hope they announce more planets (maps) they said they're not including anything from episode 1-3

Not to sound pessimistic though...I'm pretty excited. Skipped an entire console generation to get another Battlefront.
I'd love to see another Republic Commando, I know that will never happen though.

And the episode 2 clone troopers were the coolest aswell as episode 3 anakin.

Thinking back all of the episode 1-3 maps were my favourite ones with the exception of hoth, endor and maybe death star.

Thinking back i'm kinda sad there is no space battles. I didnt have online when I played battlefront back in the day, so I didn't really play alot of spacd battles since I always found it kind of boring. But if there was online it would have been so cool since all those gun turrets that were never used in offline would actually have players in them and people chasing eachother in ships and trying to sneak into the space ships to sabotage the shield core

Don't forget we are still very early into next gen. Any of the decent developers will learn how to push the systems to their limits and get as much efficiency and optimization out of them as possible.

For example the graphics in Halo 4 were much better than Halo 3 yet they were both on the same console. You can make this comparison for many games.

Consoles are basically using PC architecture now. I guess we can hope that they'll download more RAM and fix it though!
