Would their be large insects in australia? never been to oceana.

Yeah there are some large insects (which are for the most part harmless), but they're mainly in the rural areas. It's pretty uncommon to find any dangerous animals in the middle of the city.

I live in Canberra which is the capital

I recommend going to China town up in sydney, if u enjoy anime stuff.

If you have spare time, there is the national museum here in Canberra, with famous Australian stuff!

Also a quick tip; It gets super cold here in winter, dont be fooled by the stereotypical "Australia is always Hot"
