Well, I'm sure someone with a more tactical viewpoint is bound to have a better chance at succeeding in the battle.

What does that have to do with the fact that they have very low accuracy and you have to spray shots to compensate for that shortcoming?  

Wh-what?

Last time I checked, not every paintball gun or airsoft gun a complete bullet hose...

They at least try to make things feel realistic.

Paintball and airsoft are spray 'n' pray sports, that's pretty much the gist of it.

But the air gun takes one pellet at a time...how can I spray with it like a pump action.

Not all. I only have experience with paintball, but pump action tends to be entry/niche guns. Most guns tend to be at least semi-auto--shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger.  

I have an ak-47 air gun, the accuracy isn't that bad as long as you can manage spray control, but you will for sure miss a few shots.

Paintball depends on the gun and how much air pressure you apply, I personally never spray with a paint ball gun so for me I've had no issue with accuracy because I take things one shot at a time and have high air pressure.

As long as you practice often enough accuracy is easy to learn.

Hmm? Pretty much all fields will regulate your bps to 270-300fps(for paintball. It's a bit higher for airsoft). Shooting above that fps can be dangerous/hurt. You can increase it yourself for recreational/target shooting, but that will never be applicable in actual games.

There are measures you can take to compensate for the problems you'll encounter with sphere-shaped ballistics, but there is only so much you can do--there is a reason guns evolved to use cone-shaped projectiles and rifling. For paintball the best bet to improve your accuracy is to stop using C02 and use compressed air instead as C02 tends to fluctuate wildly from various elements(pressure, temperature, tank chilling). Also better markers tend to have better regulators and bolts, and quality paintballs will have a more consistent fill, which makes them fly more consistently. Barrel length tends to help, but not as much as you'd think.

Either way, it's not hard to find the information on these topics online. For airsoft apparently your hop-up will be the big determining factor, though paintball and airsoft share some similarities(such as your projectile quality being a determining factor).

I modded a nerf rocket launcher into a massive sniper rifle. I made a barrel that supported .50 BBs. I tried it and killed a rabbit. I destroyed it after that.
