Lol when I read the title and then saw the pic I thought it was going to be about that looking like a wiener.

I'm surprised people haven't mentioned the fact that the maple story pirate hat was edited yet the original stolen one still appears on the pc loading screen.

It's inspired by Maplestory I'm sure, but Maplestory doesn't have any legal ownership to mushrooms with faces. If that were the case, there'd be a lot of lawsuits for 'lots of games. - Meaning, no, this isn't copyright.

Mushroom face is okay, but still Yellow Lion Hat, Blue Pirate Hat, etc.
I am South Korean and Nexon is South Korean Company. They don't really have wide vision about American Games and general. But South Korea is very strict with copyrights.
If somebody reported Graal to Nexon with enough evidence, they will definitely sue Graal. In this case, it's very minor but it still counts and they will have an eye on Graal.
Coco don't think easy on Nexon, they love suing little companies for money and like to be greedy.

I still doubt they'd win in a lawsuit because this wouldn't even be a copyright infringement case. It's just inspired by the game, it has very distinct differences. To say a cat face on a mushroom is copyright is pretty far-fetched to me. I mean hey, GraalOnline got sued for being a Zelda MMO knock off, all they had to do was change the name from Zelda Online to Graal, and they basically use all of Zelda's images in their tileset.

Yeah I heard about that one. I don't know why American copyright laws are so loose. It's completely opposite in the East Asia.
