Agree with this and will go so far as to say the country in your profile should just auto update based on where you are. Will have an added bonus of knowing who's using VPN as a crutch

I don't think that someone who goes on a trip to mexico for example wants to have the mexican flag instead of the american flag for example.

People could use VPN but keep it within their country. Even though the lag won't be as huge as other countries it still increases it.

Everyone knows who VPNs anyway... Rexxx, Padma, Skull, those strange noobs that dress like cats and pretend to be female, etc.

100% agree on flags being locked to geolocation anyway, they deserve the shame of having their country randomly change when their VPN drops or auto-reconnects them to the next-best server
Rufus told me why they wouldn't do it before though, I just forget the reasoning

agree on flags being locked depends on ur geographic location. also i would give a different flag for hawaiians and alaskans.

Skull doesn't use VPN I believe it's due to his old PC why he can sometimes be hard to hit.

I don't see what's wrong with it either being forced to lock to geolocation or allowing you to hide it altogether - at least that way you're able to make an assumption based on their selection

Seems like major inconsistencies since we're forced to select a gender, but wutever, not that important

People in different countries often have different patterns of delay. When someone has the US flag and uses VPN to delay it can mislead people, but if the geolocation idea was implemented we'd be able to see where they're connecting from.

Being able to view people's avg ping and current ping would be nice for sparrers. I guess if you have the option to hide location then a forced flag is reasonable.

i'm not a fan of that world/other flag whatever it's called. seems like every hardcore delayer ever has their flag set to that which throws me off, when i'm pretty sure all of them have their actual home country as one of the options.

Yeah it could show their average ping within the last 10 seconds or something and we could see it in their profile.
