Maybe graal in general targets a younger audience, but Era seems to be more mature.
Just look at the app icon, its a guy chomping on a cigar pointing a gun at you.

and kids these days are growing up killing people on Call of Duty, I think the standard has lowered and things like what OP said have lost their shock value.
