All one-player mounts are the same default speed. Only two-player mounts can have different speeds, but none of the two-player mounts are any faster than the default speed (as far as I know), only slower (ex. the turtle mount).

So at the moment, any one-player mount and most two-player mounts are the fastest mount. You'll definitely get the fastest with any one-player, however. (which is default speed so...)

So for example, any single player mount versus the 2-player mount Wombat with both of them eating 5 bushes. Who's the fastest?

Test it out and find out. She already said that any 2p mount is not faster than a normal mount. If anything it's the same speed. So why not just use a normal mount? Problem solved. Unless your trying to show off you bought an expensive ugly weird mount go ahead and use it.

I've tested it out with a rhino (Black Friday edition) and several 1-p mounts and the 1-p mounts are faster. However, the wombat (I don't own) was finishing the horse race 20 seconds faster than the rest of the competitors consistently every time. So does it depend on the mount or is that how they were developed to be?  

I havs a penda and he's prtty dang fast!!!

Every single 1p mount in the game has the same speed.
When it comes to 2p mounts the only full speed ones are wombat and panda. The rest of them are slower with the turtle being the slowest. Only ones I havent seen or tested are the lion and the other new overpriced 2p mount.  

I own the wombat mount. It definitely has an increased speed, you can feel it. I want the black Friday wombat version if it comes out again, since it's such a good mount.

EDIT: I highly suggest to not buy the winged lion. It is about as slow as a turtle.

for real? winged lions like what? that *** cost u 104k, u kidding me rn?
why do we have to get sucha complicated on mounts? just make all same speed, nobody aint losing nothing. i just dont get it.
