Should be fixed.

Just because you have given Toonslab money doesn't mean you should be able to earn gralats in-game faster. That doesn't make sense. Given just how much blowback there is about bees disappearing, I'm getting the slightest inkling that maybe players were earning way too much from them for whatever reason. But that's just a hunch. |

Seriously though, it can be argued whether or not bee farming is unbalanced. During summer I made tons of gralats just my roaming the map, catching every bug in sight, and selling them on their respective bug days. Bees can bring in a lot of gralats, but there's a number of factors that actually do keep it pretty balanced. 1. Bees are hard to catch. Even someone who's mastered it (like myself) will miss some bees. Especially with lag to take into consideration. Some people just can't catch them at all. Back when that glitch existed that basically have you unlimited chances to catch your bee, it was different. But since that was fixed, there's just no way to catch every one. 2. As bee farming has become more popular and less "underground" and more well-known, there's more and more people doing it. More people in the same area = more stealing and competing over bees. The popular areas are always occupied with multiple people. 3. If you're smart, you'll only sell your bees on bee day (aka the day the bug buying NPC in swamptown pays x1.5 for bees). As the bug days are randomized, there's no way of knowing when it'll come. And people who need gralats right say for something will sell their bees for the regular price. 4. Bees no longer spawn during winter. If any balancing needed to be done, you've succeeded by making this change. That's 3 months with no bees. I just wanted to list some facts because I've been bee farming off and on for a long time now, and I know what I'm talking about. I would hate to see a part of the game I like unnecessarily nerfed any further. I can accept the no-bees-during-winter change because you addressed all my concerns and I appreciate that. And I never want to be one of those players who just whines about everything. I know how many of those you have to deal with. I like constructive discussion as opposed to needless arguing. ![]() |

What's the point of removing bees if they're gonna add a new bug? You're fine with one that costs the same as worms? |

![]() By the way, are you Shadowfox? I haven't been posting here much lately but I remember you.
Besides, I left out one crucial detail about bees in my previous post. The one thing that COULD raise an argument that bees are maybe a tad unbalanced. But Dusty shall never know. MUAHAHAHAHAHA! The best part is it sounds like I'm making crap up. And for all anyone knows, I am. *shifts his eyes back and fourth* |
