i think they should make you immune from damage so people cant pk you while your on it, kinda defeats the purpose if you get killed more and move slower than if you were on a horse.

Pretty sure I said in another thread that we are considering ways to add speed but I won't divulge any further. I don't think the armor and certainly not the weapons will be added though  

Speed how many will the speed be?

I think adding noPlayerKilling() to the script isnt enough.

Don´t think so. If you get owned too bad. Walking is faster anyway.
From one end to the other with walking takes about 1:57 minutes. Draisine 4:47 minutes.  

Wow you measured? I use the draisine to cover the chasms and water blocks
