Less and less holidays? I concur. Well, in the sense that there's no longer an Onnet Shop update for six of them. One of those was only done once though.

Its not that big a deal really, you want more clover, leprachaun, pot o"gold hats?
I get it if you never got hats from the event before, but its not that crazy to miss it this once if they decide to not add hats at all.  

Go outside and look at the lawn you've neglected overridden with clovers, happy St. Patty's

I wish we could focus on actual updates instead of relying on holidays for content.  

I always prefer real content over items. Activities, things to do, quality updates, etc. are much better than items. 1 hat is bought once and worn for a few days, while activities last forever.

Well if the activity is a quest like the mod town quest you can only do it once per character.
Although it's true that classic needs more content.
I mean except tower, spar, pk and bk there isn't much to do(no I don't consider farming or looting an activity). Even events are rare now.
There isn't really much to do, but people complain about 1k guilds.
What's so bad about 1k guild? After all towering is the only thing that gives you items for the exception of GST. If there were more activities, maybe then people would get out of towers! Plus the reward for 5k should be a mount, nobody cares about the fact that they can get an animated hat. If the 5k rewards suddenly became a horse, guilds are more likely going to start aiming higher. After all, how is an animated hat worth 5 png hat?  

I consider activities to be the things like CTF (which really is a wasted goldmine), soccer place (another wasted goldmine), the archery range, and the crab chance. I dislike quests because as you said, you can only do it once. Plus half the time they're not much of a quest. Although, classic does their quests pretty well... Problem is other players ruin it.
