The hard part is idling and being disconnected because you have to remember to move every 10 minutes or so on each account which can be an absolute pain. I actually didn't record 1 match last season because I didn't realize one of my accounts was disconnected. I also believe there is a way to cut up 1 account into sub regions that would be placed individually in the stream so you don't have the browser border included. Edit: Here is how you can accomplish multiple sub regions so you can capture up to 2 (or more depending on your resolution) matches per account without having the browser border being included: So then you could customize it however you want (quick mockup below): ![]() |

Wow nice guys, thanks james, I didn't know how to find that video. I kept searching for "multiple windows" and "how to have multiple full-screen windows." Although I did try sub-regions, but it didn't work. Wait, did you both 6 graals running while having the preview shown on obs? Most of the cpu usage was the fact that it was encoding. I'll test it out on maxthon. |

Technically you wouldn't need 6 graals open depending on your resolution. There are a couple tricks to maybe accomplish it with just using 2 or maybe 1 account. I can test some stuff this weekend. Basically if you have a huge resolution you could technically zoom out (depending on the browser to do this right, opera generally has the best results for zooming unless you are using a mac) then increase the flash window size which could allow you to see most of the GST rooms. Probably could be accomplished with 2 accounts if you have a high resolution. If you are stuck with 1080p resolution then you technically would need 3 accounts. When I record I use 2 different PC's for that all together so I am not lagging on my main account and can spar/interact without having to worry about interrupting the recording. For streaming I think you could accomplish all of this on 1 PC but it would have to be a very specific setup and again you would have to take into account the idling/disconnect issue (probably could create some macro to prevent this... but that's technically against the rules ![]() How I would do it: - 3 accounts on, each one looking at 1 row of arenas (so 2 each account) - OBS multi sub region and crop each match and organize your window structure in OBS and what would stream #2 How I would do it: - 2 accounts on, zoomed out browser, increased flash window size to see more on 1 account. 1 account would see 4 arenas and other would see final 2 (or however many remain) - OBS multi sub region and crop each match and organize your window structure in OBS and what would stream I'll do some testing on it this weekend, maybe try to stream all the belle/pub/streak arenas as just a test and see the easiest setup. If you have more than 1 PC then it will be way easier for you and overall better viewing experience for visitors... |

Thanks guys, so I enabled nvidia nvenc in the encoding settings. That way it used the gpu, instead of the cpu. I only did 4, cause I didn't feel like opening more browsers, but at least this time things were running fast, while encoding. Maybe devs have a setting where they don't get d/c for idling? Otherwise you would have to move the screen a bit every 5 mins or so. Note: You have to disable hardware acceleration in order for the image to show up on obs. ![]() |
