It isn't finished though. @.@;; The introduction should be finished soon though.. Afterwards we will start working on the other five main quests, then sub quests. |

Wow, I must say that was a very unexpected turn of events. I'm sorry that many of you had servers that went offline but I'd like to thank you for choosing to go onto Shaded Legends instead. I was under the impression that our events were 95% complete. I am now to understand, besides the Events Tool being pretty confusing, most of the events are NOT fixed, since they were not actually tested after conversion... 1. Events aren't finished. 2. Events tool needs to be fixed, or replaced. 3. My staff tool needs more thought. I noticed there was not much complaining via Mass Messages also, and I very much appreciate that. I have to thank Loakey, Bayne, Jester Lapse, and Shurikan for being on at the right time to help out the situation. Furthermore, Jay came on for about 5-10 minutes and tried to help, it looks like he decided to quit the server and has notified me. I suppose this does place me at full Assistant Management. Hope you all did enjoy the events that did work, and *cough* hide and seek. |

What can I say? Shaded Legends has a new look... The GMAP is being developed to be as big as it once was... There is a new weapon and damage system being worked on... We have a few new LATs, many GATs, as well as old staff members helping... I think we are doing rather well. Oh, I guess I should also state the folders are a little more organized.. So you all may want to check through all the heads and bodies to see which were yours... Bodies : body0-97.gif body0-129.png Heads: head0-head1175.png slhead0000-4928.png slhead0000-1499.gif slhead000-slhead141.mng We should have a newer viewer later on, we aren't here to discuss why we chose to organize the folders. Just find your stuff, thanks. :] Still looking for people to join our project however. Applications should be completed and given to the public in a few days. |

How is that more organized? So instead of having files named w/e you now have them named by numbers, which I would foresee causing more problems than there may have been previously. You're looking for a certain head and you knew what it was named, but now it's a number between 0 and 4928. LOL I wish everyone that plays this server luck in finding their outfits. I also wish that the staff would grow brains. |

O__o What servers do you play? Classic (PC) isn't like this. Classic organizes files like this: classic_type_name_id classic_overworld_graalcity_04.nw classic_inside_graalcitybank_02.nw classic_shield_ffcmike_slayers.mng classic_object_healthpot_01.png classic_tileset_original.png But I guess that it's way too difficult to do it this way. |

Explanation: Back in the day heads use to be as such: head.png, head1.png, head2.png, head3.png. I always remembered after 10 years my favorite heads were 272, 1247, and ... well I forgot the baby one... But you get the point. How hard is it to search for a head to use via numbers, then it is to guess names? sethead head7kait-thisheadpwnshead-a2.png... I'd never find it unless I looked through some folders. Actually, if it doesn't download I'd never find it. Half of the people from years back will never get on to play, will never use the head. Why have heads that will never be used... But why delete them all? Why? 1. Things are much more organized, no missing heads in the file viewer. 2. I'd like to rename them slhead0006... slhead0006a... slhead0006b... this means actually going in and looking at which heads are the same. (I'm only in the 200's and have been working on other things.) This also means I can not only have players look at the same type of heads, but can pick categories like gender, or colors. So while other servers upload their favorite head remade, others can actually look through and use all the ones already available a lot easier, faster, and less time consuming. You'll notice there is no head33, or head110 I think... most of them through the 1000's are missing... Basically the viewer goes through a lot of blank files and I don't like that. Other Files: Other files like weapons, weapon images will be called things like: weapon_class-name.png weapon_sword-name.png weapon_broadsword-name.png... levelobject_name for classes... scenery_name for scene images... In case you were wondering if I just randomly put everything that was in a folder as numbers... But yeah, for the most part almost all servers DO use numbers for their heads and always will, however it has also broken out into names which I believe was a downfall in sharing, organization, and a waste of space. Thanks, I'll post some updates later, we are currently beta testing something for someone, I've done a good amount, and started working on some main storyline quests. We are also looking for NATs and LATs; anyone who can fix or make events, or fix and make quests. :] -EDIT- The reason for the 0's is so it does not show 1, 10, 110,111 inside of the folder, and I doubt we will have 10,000 heads. |

Sorry I have not posted any updates in a while... I've been working some items into the new GUI, basically allowing you to use S and D to attack. A GUI that Thyme created before he had a few life issues. Basically allowing Actions, Sub-actions, Two handed fighting, One handed fighting, and allowing you to equip two or one items. Mining was finished, need to add more options on things to fine, and work on a better system for what you mine.. Won't get into that. ;D Lumber Cutting is finished, both have more visuals, and look better. Both of these systems are fixed, however your tools can break, and you can buy extras. Shovel looks better... Intro is basically finished. Need to polish a few things, and some I want polished but cannot do it my self.. (It is hard to make it look like you are doing pushups on Graal) o.O I've fixed a good amount of events... Weapons.. Items... Blah Blah Blah... Here is what I wanted to show. Also, the reconnection problem was a simple fix, so that is finished... I'm using two classes and a shopkeeper... They all react to each other. I'm not sure if there are any other bugs, I've tried a lot of things...

Not sure that really matters. Updates aren't always created for those that wait for them. That and more or less posting updates is a tool used for advertisement.. I suppose you should probably learn that. Unless you really want your question answered, I suggest you ask around. As I wouldn't know. :] |
