Ah i dont wanna make a new thread just for this so ill put it here instead cuz its related.

ok so yesterday azrael sends broadcast saying that he will eliminate the entire idea of guild pics if the "lewd" ones dont stop. ok ik they cant catch EVERY perv gp, but y let them ruin it for us? :/ hmmm one possibility could be to make it where guilds pics only accept PNGs n GIFs.

Because there are younger children playing the game. Due to some laws and so on pornographic stuff and other things are not supposed to be shown in a kids game.

Even 64x64 wouldnt be small enough to make it so they couldn't put nudes. Since you upload via the camera roll its really hard to do something like this while on a idevice.

Plus just making it have to be a png wouldn't do much. You'd need to limit the size and basically make the whole thing impossible on idevice.

png is just another picture format(file extension). Idk what making it png only would do. Lowering the resolution may lower the detail of inapporopiate images but they still are what they are.

well first i just meant it would keep open an oppurtunity to show art work. also most horny 12yr olds dont know how to convert jpg to png XD
ik it wont happen tho bcuz of the small possibility of someone do knowing how convert it / the small possibility of ppl thinking that an indexed image looks "sexy" XD

uhm you can already do that if the image is uploaded on the server, you can put it in your status.
