The Avengers was an excellent movie, but I'm really looking forward to the Dark Knight Rises. When I saw the Dark Knight in theaters for the first time it completely blew me away, leaving me in stunned silence as the credits began rolling. I'm hoping it sequel will deliver just as well, if not better. Bane looks like he's going to be one hell of a villain, and hopefully his character and performance will be up to par with Heath Ledger's Joker.

Bain doesn't excite me at all, he isn't very colorful in personality or appearance and Anne Hathaway could potentially ruin the entire film. I trust Christopher Nolan though. The Dark Knight had the Joker and Two Face two bad ass villains, Dark Knight Rises has Bain and Catwoman :/

Bain doesn't seem as fun to watch as the Joker was, true, but Bain isn't supposed to be fun, he's supposed to make you wet yourself with his on-screen presence. And I hope his actor is skilled enough to pull that kind of role off.

Also c'mon, Anne Hathaway is a decent actress, cut her some slack. The only thing I'm worried about in regards to her is whether she's really suitable for the role of the feline feminine fatale. I mean she's gorgeous, don't get me wrong, she's just not really enchanting or seductive like Catwoman is.

Pixars falling apart... Brave is getting reviews in just now and its turning out to be a pretty bland movie apparently. What happened to pixar? They had absolutley fantastic movies up until last year. Heres the tomatometer rundown:

Toy story: 100%
A bugs life: 92%
Toy story 2:100%
Monsters inc: 95%
Finding nemo: 98%
The incredibles: 97%
Cars: 72%
Ratatouille: 96%
Wall-E:96%
up: 98%
Toy story 3: 99%
Cars 2: 38%
Brave: ????

Are you kidding me? Men in Black 3 was HORRIBLE. I wanted a refund at the end of the movie, that was by far the dumbest movie I have ever seen...

Those are all exceptionally high reviews except for Cars, and that audience is guarantted to be biased even though those movies are extremely successful.

Yeah but now with another movie that is seeming to be less than fantastic, thats two in a row for pixar, which has never happened.

Yeah Brave looks like they ripped off the stlye from How to Train your Dragon.
And it doesnt look very interesting at all. Hopefully the Monsters Inc sequel will pick them back up.

Yes I know but she is featured as one of the main new characters and doesn't seem exciting as the joker or two face

I heard Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days will be a nice movie.
Other than that, I really wanna see the new Batman movie.
