That's what this is about, like I had said in my previous post. Modern day capitalism isn't working. Money isn't a finite resource, and if we aren't taxing those who hold the most, how will the government be able to sustain itself? It's just going to give the Capitalists more and more money. It's never going to stop for them. What it's about is getting the government back on it's feet by fixing what Obama was too afraid to fix himself for whatever reason.

Just curious. What do you think the top tax rate should be?

The projected growth as of a few months ago looked pretty good actually, despite what the hivemind is trying to tell everyone.

In deep compared to who?? China? Sweden? The UK? We're better off and increasing than all of these places. All of their GDP growth rates are stagnating or going down right now. When you tell me we're all boned and our economy sucks, I take a look at stuff like this and I have to wonder how you reach this conclusion??

I don't get how you can stare at this exponential GDP graph and tell me "yep the economy sucks" when GDP is probably the most important factor in how the economy as a whole "is".

Income inequality and things like that are a different story, if that's what you were referring to.

I don't think the economy sucks because the rich make too much. I do think they can make too much, but it's the gov. that's actually ruining the economy. Tax is an issue (I love Trump's tax plan) but I don't think that will even come close to fixing the economy.  

People have always claimed that Trump has no real stance on issues, especially foreign policy.

He went through this entire 40-minute speech outlining his approach to foreign policy. So, how can any American disagree with anything he's said here?

"We must stop importing extremism through immigration policies."

"ISIS, your days are numbered. I won't tell them when and I won't tell them how. As a nation, we need to be more unpredictable."

"In the Middle East, we must be clear-sighted about those who will always be our enemies."

"The world is most peaceful and most prosperous when America is strongest. To play that role, we must make America strong again."

To disagree with any of those points, you'd have to think things like:

• Our country shouldn't come first.
• We should force the Middle East into democracy (which is impossible).
• We should weaken our country to rebuild others.
• Europe and Asia shouldn't have to pay us for our extensive help.
• We should tell our enemies when and how we are going to attack them.

Not easy to just move to Canada. For the most part, you either need a lot of money, or have a job offer already.

I would vote for Trump just to have some of the people who said they'd move too Canada actually go. There's some psychos that I wouldn't mind leaving America. I think them threatening to leave America is the reason Trump's support has grown.

It's called checks and balances for a reason. Although, I get why people would be afraid of Trump as President since we see how Obama abuses his executive authority already. I can see why they might think Obama's setting a precedent and Trump might do the same.
