Dusty confirmed theres only 3 gems.  

I did the bounty thing twice and jail still didn't open for me. I'm disappointed, I only did the bounty quest because of the spoon shovel+bomb

(Side note: some player named Kalypso is telling me that there are 10 gems, eve though I keep correcting her. Could Dusty/Coco/any staff member confirm the total gem count?)

There are only 3 gems and I doubt more will be added any time soon.

*Fixed  

My box started sparkling, after I killed a rare baddy (Rebel Elite?)

Got 1,250, instead of 1,000 gralats. Plus the 100g I got from the rare baddy drop. Pretty cool, didn't know this was an option.

Right? I love having so much variety now. Feels like a new quest everyday. I even go back after my quest is finished to see what other baddies I may want to go after. I like being given a sort of choice of what to do even after I have obtained my bounty for the day.
