Oh, and then if they do get banned they just come back in a few minutes on a fresh account and do this for hours until they get bored. Meanwhile someone gets reported for something they say and it takes a few minutes to check their chat and see if they actually said it. Easy! And guess who she didn't do it in front of? GPs, the only people who matter when it comes to witnessing! It doesn't matter if she got reported 50 times in an hour, that's not evidence. People file false reports all the time and sometimes they even organize their friends to all report people to try to get them in trouble. Sorry, but hacking is the most difficult thing to deal with. The only way to truly detect is either obvious hacking(moving insanely fast or not losing health), or having the numbers to back it up. Hackers have learned that keeping their speed boost subtle and within the margin of error of detection tools keeps them safe. Or to do so sparingly so they lessen their chance of getting caught. The fact that she was caught is proof they handle it when there is actual proof. |

When people from different guilds, social circles, activities all agree on one thing it usually means they're on to something. The fact that it took as long as it did is a joke (sorry can't think of a better word) and it only proves that admins are not in touch with the battle arena. GPs are allowed to go invisible whenever they want, can't they? They should be able to catch these speeders/boosters veeeeeery easily with that. If they don't then it becomes a problem with activity and/or their lack of interest in patrolling the battle arena in general. Obviously they aren't going to PM GPs "hey come watch me cheat!", so it's important to hire at least some people who know sparring/pking well enough to catch this kind of stuff when it's happening. I've seen multiple health and speed hackers frequent the arena night after night doing this on the same account they were on the night before. I'd also like to add that Sarah's video of carly boosting has been up since November. |

The problem with videos is that there is no way for the staff to verify who the people in the video are. Again, I need to reiterate a bunch of people complaining isn't proof. It doesn't matter if they all come from different walks in life and are coming together to complain... it's not proof. |

I wouldn't consider people voicing their displeasure over someone running rampant for 2 years speeding and boosting "complaining" but I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this. Not saying that anyone should sit in the battle arena and do nothing but wait for hackers to come on but there has to be a healthy balance between that and never being active enough in the battle arena to see people who constantly do it for long periods of time. Again, we'll just have to agree to disagree on this entirely cause I wholeheartedly believe that when whittled down this comes down to a GPs general interest in sparring and pking as activities. |

May seem like complaining but more so voicing active concerns For people involved with the spar community and who have been for years it just really sucks to see people like Carly ruin it and get away with it I understand the need for proof but almost everyone in the spar community knew what she was doing - account isn't even hers, belongs to a player named Luvious - videos that show her swinging and moving faster - boosting video has 'Carly (TEAM BEER)' queing up against an alt account that instantly logs to give her a free win several times, when it stopped and the account logged out another account named "Carly" with Canadian flag logins right after - PM'd a 14/15 year old girl where she lives and goes to school and threatened to DOX her if she didn't leave a guild, had 100% proof but was told it's okay because she didn't actually do it just threatened it (wtf????) I understand the issue with mass reporting, but when people are capturing videos, pictures, and several forms of proof and constantly discussing it I think it's obvious they are actually doing something they shouldn't The situation is just different depending on which perspective you come from, she ruined the main focus of a lot of peoples game play as well as other hackers because it's something they can easily get away with it seems |
