Heaven is the belief of an enternal paradise in the afterlife for those who lived good sin free lives, while Hell; in contrast, is an eternal suffering for those who lived bad, hateful, simful lives. I believe in a way most people don't, yet I still practice the same. I believe that spirits and other paranormal entities are four dimensional creatures passing through our plane of existence. They are able to move through solid objects, disappear and change shape, but how? A four dimensional object cannot be perceived with our three dimensional eyes and we can only witness four dimensional objects from a three dimensional perspective. While they move, it may appear as if they are being stretched out or fading out. It will continue this until you are unable to see or comprehend this. Think of an impossible triangle, probably the best example of a 4D object. It can only be seen from a 3D perspective. But what is the fourth dimension exactly? It is another direction, another plane and a view of time from start to finish. In the 3D world, there is only length, width and depth. The fourth dimension offers a new direction to pass through. Which would be why an entity would be able to easily pass through a 3D object with ease. If a spirit may be 4D, then how are our souls inside us? The same way we are passing through the second dimension. Find a light source and cast a shadow over it. Your shadow is two dimensional and is able to fit over a multitude over 2D planes. Notice how your shadow does not only leave one 2D image but symmetrical, lighter and smaller shadows as well. That is your 2D shadow being stretched over parallel 2D planes. Imagine the 2nd dimension as a ladder almost. Your shadow is being cast over the steps in segments. Each new dimension is simply an expansion of the previous. Each having its own infinites, impossibilities, universes and outcomes. Each dimension containing the previous dimension and its universes, infinities, impossibilities, outcomes along with its own as a single point. It grows higher, and higher until it reaches the 10th dimension. Which I refer to as the "God" dimension. This particular dimension, is a single point. Yet inside it contains every universe, outcome, world, action, thought, notions, and everything you can think of and more. Things we haven't dreamt of. Things we cannot dream of. You can go on and on equating us to something far below subatomic compared to this dimension. All of these things that make the term "infinite" seem worthless wrapped into one. And perhaps that dimension is what I call God. The highest of all outcomes, possibilities and everything and all. Every correct step, every correct outcome ever taken being lead up into it. If a 3D person is easily able to think in 3rd, 2nd and 1st dimensions and everything about them you cannot even begin to imagine what it must be like for the 10th. Without the 10th dimension to hold the others inside, where would we be? |

Put this on loop, and it basically summarizes this thread. There's a reason this argument keeps going on. Its a core difference in philosophies and outlook on life. There's no reason to have this debate. Anyways, I'm pretty sure this debate is more focused on the aspects of the legitimacy of religion, E.G., the religious texts. Not the concept of a god or spirit creature. That's something that simply cant be discussed. Not sure if the title is a good choice. I'm not sure why people instantly connect the concept of a god with the believing of religious texts. They are two completely different things. Oh, right, the video. Sorry. |

It turns out Morgan Freeman is in fact athiest. The fact that he played God is ironic and actually makes a lot of sense. |
