After reading the other thread, it makes sense. Dont forget PK means Player Killing. There are no actual rules or law on how to kill a player but arrowing a crowded area is pretty cheap. For Sparring, its meant to show the other opponent whos stronger and more skillful though things like lagging and wall sparring are something people hate, its just an unintentional (for lag) and coward (for wall sparring) way of sparring but not illegal. There are always going to be things that are legal to do but it becomes to the point where people abuse that thing and then other people will considered it illegal because its cheap. Boosting kills/spar wins secretly, off the same character, and hacking to have high, superior advantage are few illegal things.

PK rewards in 300k increments is extremely step... I suggested the rewards not specifically to reward people who already PK and spar, but to make it more active and to encourage people to do it more
Someone who has never PKed before would look at the first reward tier at 300k and assume they'll never get it and just not be interested at all

If they make it in increments of 10k and 100k, up to like 100k and 1m, I don't see how that doesn't provide enough longevity and incentive for the reward system, considering it's been 6 years now and no one has achieved either

My idea was to reward the players that go beyond the minimum of 100-200k pks because a lot of players get 100k or 200k then they just stop pking. Even with the PK hats, yeah it'll be motivation to get 100k and maybe even 200k but after they get the 2 hats, I dont think many people would try to get 300k pks and the 3rd hat. I see where you're coming from though, I think increments of 100-150k would work best.

Also, Era has a PK/Spar hat shop with hats on display for each different milestone(100k, 200k etc. 10k, 20k etc.) and whatever milestone you've reached you can just go grab the hat and it'll be added to your account. I think classic could do something like this.

I don't care what the increments are or what the hats look like, I'd just like to see it bring activity and motivate people to spar and PK

At this point, I don't even know if that's a good idea since the server is in such poor condition

Did I say mob pking was boosting? No, I didn't. I said it was cheap pk.

Even still, that isn't a fact. It is your opinion that it is cheap, and that's fine. I personally don't think it's cheap as you can pk any way you want. It's not limited to pking at towers.  

A wearable baddy helmet for baddy killing would be cool but then more people would just complain that there's not enough baddies or too much people baddy killing

Has anyone seen that NPC in MoD town that checks your spar wins and then disses you?

Crowd PKing seems so mindless to me. You just sit and sword/arrow spam until you die, and when you die you just tap the screen/hit a button and respawn right there with little loss and keep going until you get bored.

PKing at Castle is pretty fun. The problem with PKing on iClassic isn't just the playercount, it's all the noPK zone that pop up in random places and the noBlock zones in PK areas.

I agree with the nopk, but not with the noblocking. It's extremely easy to completely block off an area, especially when crowds form.
