Why not change it to something similar to my implementation from like 10 years ago where you have to hold for two minutes to gain a guild win and a single slash brings about a new flag-holder? That US vs. Ventrue battle when I first implemented it was intense af.

Towering kinda is more then dead. It's an unflavored and undesired sport in graal now. Graal removed the one thing that made many more players than there is now to do it. Though one could argue people still enjoy it, which yes of course people will enjoy towering regardless, especially if your from Maphasy or other tower guilds. It's just your thing. Towering now is extremely out of balance. There is no longer a single reward or anything at all for towering regardless of how much you end up doing so as far as my knowledge is since they removed hats about a year or two ago. Along with the disappearance within the years towers in York, Castle, Snowtown.ect players are now forced to take over towers that was once Their friendly tower neighbor. Forcing fiercer competition and even killing competition among guilds who are no longer able to tower or even be unsuccessful at towering after a point in time, which also made it impossible for newer rising tower guilds to compete with the more fierce competiting tower guilds during the times when tower guilds was starting to disappear more and more. As a result of all these incidents, towering has became most likely the most unpracticed activitiy in graal than it ever was in recent years, with new tower guilds rarely appearing leaving only the older guilds to rule over that tower for however long they feel like it. So after all these slam attack of incidents, what are we led with? An extremely unflavored activitiy in Graal. One which not even new guilds are appearing into anymore to do. And if they do it is seemingly extremely rare. Compared to the other most known activity in graal, Sparring. Towering has become very unbalanced when compared to it. In sparring you could spar enough to get your name written in a book for 40k ect. Or get good enough to attend a GST which give you the mystery gift for 2500. But towering now anyway. There is absolutely no reward. Nothing to even motivate or pull newer players to attend the activity. |

This is less about the guild system but more about what kind of incentive needs to be implemented. What would pull all of you into wanting to tower again? With the way the system was exploited, which was absolutely disgusting, what kind of rewards would you enjoy "towering" over? I never cared for hats when I towered, I just wanted to make a guild that would some day be notorious in taking and holding a towers much like Maphasy or Ninja Warriors. As soon as I started getting my stats to a worthy look, the reward system was eradicated and towering became nothing more than something to do if ye didn't feel like sparring or buying stuff for your house. I didn't think this would kill towering, but I was wrong since they hadn't put in a secure system to replace the old one. As of now there is no point in towering at all, unless you just want to do it to have fun there isn't anything to compete for now. Hats alone are meh, I don't think that would spark everyone's interest at this point since not too many currently care for hats. I could be wrong, though. We saw something about a guild shop, which opens up many opportunities such as points for how many hours a guild holds a tower to spend on items or things in the guild shop. A new loyalty system should be in place to prevent anymore of that rec, use, kick and repeat BS. Perhaps a penalty system if ye kick a member. "But that can also be exploited since people will troll guilds!" Keep the word loyalty in mind, because a guild shouldn't be filled with randoms to aid your goals. |

Such a system could work. Guild shops, loyalty points, ect. But you are also right these things can be exploited fairly easily. If anything makes competition risky by either playe not helping in towering or giving the wrong guild member kick powers |
