I wont do anything? I guess that's why I sent all of my staff to read these post. I have been gone for a while moving. We would like a poll started after we get a lot of ideas here. The winning poll we will start working on. I say the poll starts next Monday a week from tomorrow. Ghetto grow up and stop having a hissy fit. You dont help with anything besides causing problems. So keep the ideas rolling. |

- Scrap all holiday and sport-themed content planned. - Revert Iricia, Gwars and KotH to their old team vs team theme (KotH having the ability to have up to IV teams against each other) - Put more emphasis on teamwork and PK; less about basing and squads - Import more content, weapons and scripts from Zone - Rework Skyworld so that it's not as huge, barren and linear; give some variance in appearence, instead of 3x3x3 lots - Use Zone's old tile set as a placeholder instead of the very bland current tile set - Bring the light vs dark map (with classes and powers) as an event - Implement the energy system -Remove infinite ammo and fuel as these kill all thought about strategy and how to conserve ammo. It only promotes needless spam like iEra -Revamp classes either by using Zone's class system, or just make them unique. Things like the defender being slower but having innate damage reduction, as well as something defense-esque, like mines or mortars. You can use your imagination on this and expand on it! Just don't get too artsy and make it beyond ******ed - Remove combat and medic robots and instead port the healing weapon from Zone into iZone. This would also mean to remove those AoE healing things as that eats through strategy. Make healing a 1-square distance for touch and if you must, a 0.5 square radius for anyone near - If you plan on implementing a questline, put time into the mechanics. Give it something Delteria and iClassic lack; cinematics. Things like panning, scrolling, markers, etc. - Post a list of what's happening on a weekly basis. Let the public know what's going on, including bug fixes, upcoming content, etc. I'll give you props for being acknowledging. |

Heres an idea remove unlimited ammo fix the weapon bugs fix the flamethrower (its still broken and its been that way since we added range to it. It won't set people on fire except on staff accounts it will, but it has the infinite range for burning people). |

The only ideas I have start with "fix". "Fix the levels" "Fix the grenades launcher" "Fix ..." Fixing is better than having more stuff added that increases the fix list. I guess you are already aware of what it needs to be fixed means nobody needs to list it. |

Idea: Roughly make the map half size of what it is(keep like that for awhile-until eventually cover with no empty places)-this brings community back together rather than spread out here and there. Make leveling system mean more? maybe certain level obtain weapon/power/access to another planet? Squads - Allow the pvp but make so only like 4/5bases (some could be different-zone should be different) what id do: base 1 - chorus style take over all bases to own(using pvp item to attack) base 2 - the loved skybase make only 1 though(everyone enjoyed this as good for pk and outside styled base 3 - Bring showdown back as base it allowed people with not many players to earn base time - I literally got most fatals hrs by owning showdown forever(3rd to 100hrs) So no teaming really isnt an issue imo just takes skill/strategy to win base 4 - Like the newer bases keep one of these, keeps era/ol players who play zone also happy --------------- base 5 - maybe something totally different -you decide --------------- [Reason I say less bases is it brings more competition between squads =more attacks/defending = less 'bored of server' as they'd be active trying to earn bit of time] Now also if going down quest route pop few iconic npc's about with clues of things to come(i hated this on classic-but does keep the players hoping as shown on classic numbers of times lmao-but dont take to long to make stuff for it) maybe to add to that there could be squad dedicated to a quest system? idk Now for stuff like Koth or capture the flag maybe have a ldrboard for these to say whos won most? (p.s if not making showdown a base then DO this!) |

I was thinking of a realistic tutorial, rather than just being said, typed or explained. We should put them into levels with the guide/instructions that can be implied in playing Zone. Again, GMAP is too big, and need to be worked out again. I should say, cut it into different sectors and make them as a whole new planet rather than just 1 planet. Since it is the space, we should have more "space activities". Giving space a sole purpose. Examples can be like, space base with gravitational effects, space race (using spaceships ‘like in mission 9(?)‘). Revamp some tiles in the tileset. The tileset also should be more ‘organized' than finding the right tile for it. Most outside tiles are away from each other which totally makes no sense. A Squad vs Squad Basing System. I totally hate it when others just help them, when we want just that squad to be attacked. |
