But still, this doesn't have any relevance to what I said beforehand. That it makes no sense to have different minimum wage rates in different states. Because if they were all the same, you better bet the cost of living would be near the same everywhere. |

I believe that in the long run, raising the minimum wage will benefit the nation. I am no economist, however, and feel free to refute my ideas; preferably via PM or Skype as I've led us off-topic. - Back on topic - I've done some summer web design volunteer work, and small odd jobs, but I wouldn't consider those actual jobs. I'm excited for my first foray into the work force. And yes, I will try and apply to more places if I do not get my Chick-fil-A job. |

Minimum wage is $7.75/hr in Alaska. To put the cost of living up here in perspective, a gallon of milk costs $6.99. OT: I am a butcher/ meat cutter and make $12/hr (and every 6 months I get a $1 raise). |
