there will be no difference between the current iPod 4G and this new iPod.
-note in the article it says there are no hardware changes-

so basically its an iPod 4 with iOS 5 built in...easy cash-in for Apple..

ohhh, cause i was really hoping for a ipod touch 5th gen to come out so i could replace my laggy 2nd gen :/ so i guess ill get the 4th one now? to avoid waiting another year...

Well I'd wait for ipod 5 because it will likely have the a5 chip, which is way faster so most games probably wont support ipod 4 and lower when it comes out.

Some of you made a few predictions for the next iPod, which include the device being smaller this year and featuring an A5 processor with increased RAM, and 1080p video recording.

People speculating what features the iPod will have is not Apple saying what it will have.

There's currently no such things as the iPhone 5, its called the iPhone 4S
It has 1 new lens in the camera to reflect a better picture as well as it being 8 megapixels. It has Siri which lets you communicate with your phone as if you were talking to a person. The A5 chip renders graphics 7x faster, and basic gameplay and speed is 2x as fast. Battery life is better. iOS5 is included. This iPhone is by far the best new iPod leap from the previous one. iPhone 3 to iPhone 4 was nothing... iPhone 4 to iPhone 4S is amazing

That's bull. I've read in several articles that the iPhone 4S will be running the same processor as the iPad 2, and it will also be able to record at 1080p and have a few extra lenses added to the camera.

No Iphone 5.... All that was mentioned was the Iphone 4S, iOS 5, Infinity blade 2, and now Ipod touch will come out in a white color aswell...

I was really disappointed that there isn't gonna be an Iphone 5 this year... But Infinity blade 2?!?! AWESOME!
