Quite frankly I get the impression that there are no GPs on the team solely because they want to improve the server. It seems they only give their time and duties for the sake of keeping the job... Nobody is an admin because they want to improve the server. I take that back I'm sure a couple people at least are, but I will say that none of the GPs are really succeeding. If you look back, GST was one of the most exciting evens on Classic iPhone lately, and it was fueled by a player (Rufus). Granted, fp4 helped a lot, but it seems ridiculous that the entertainment of the server lives off of players like Rufus.

Are there any Graal Police members who hold their position because they want to improve the server? Prove it, and stretch out a little bit and try to find something extra you can do aside from jailings, bannings, and hide-n-seek. And for those of you who are just in it for the power, first of all, I despise you, and, second of all, as an incentive, trying to help the server will guarantee you will have your goodies and powers longer.

no but really this is exactly what I meant by "useless admins" in my other thread.

It is a lot of work (and stress) on myself to host these tournaments every month and lowers the value (in my eyes) of the tournament every consecutive month we continue to host it.

There's also no reason other staff can't host significant events every month in between GST events either.

you're right, there is no reason other staff can't host events...so why dont they?
Come on we have nearly 30+ gp's who do nothing to contribute to the game outside of making a few nice hats that may never even be sold..

This will never happen, and for good reason too. Hats are the only thing they sell at shops and they can be special, which gives them uniqueness, if there was custom hat uploading, everyone would upload old or rare hats.

I disagree, GPs are expected to maintain order and lighten player relation work for developers. You shouldn't have to expect anything more than that, you're being spoiled if that's present else where. They're not hired to become rogue entertainers nor should you expect them to be.

If you want to blame anyone for the lack of events aim for the very top at unixmad (though I'm sure Stefan has contributed to amounts of silliness as well). There are steps he has/hasn't taken to put Graal in it's current state.

Honestly, Graal needs more full-time, hard-working (paid) developers. Everyone below Stefan is pretty much a volunteer who really don't get a whole lot of it out of it.

I'm beating a dead horse with this post though, it's been made hundreds of times in different shapes and forms on the official graal forums.

The whole concept of an Internship is to gain work experience often at little to no charge to the business they're interning at. I would bet that they weren't at all considering the following:

To be honest... I don't think thats ever gonna be released until they can get some sort of script in the server to make an individual go through the quest rather than an entire group of players (If not, it can cause major lag)

one event I played you tried to knock all your opponents into the water, and when they got hit it in, they got warped. The winner picked 3 people to sit out and moved on to the next round.

Event is called Sumo. It was also an event found in Classic PC. It would be cool to incorporate some of Classic PCs events because a lot of them were great and I enjoyed them more than UNs events.(My opinion)

That video rips off every possible video game made.  

They can make events that won't lag. The only thing that will cause lag is particle effects.  

My favorite event was juggernaut. Where an admin would hide, and the first player to kill him wins.

Lol i love juggernaut! This may seem like a lie but it's not, Matt was playing juggernaut and i won, and he said he would give me a mask, but i was being spammed in guild chat and he pmed me so i accidentally skipped over it. I still don't know what he said and i also never got my hat haha. I talked to evilXhunter who talked to twinny about it but somehow the whole topic got dropped.

But i love juggernaut none the less
