Ah, where does that trade take place? And are there any more steps to take in order to be able to fully get looting capabilities?

If you go north of the bridge at york town, into the cave, you'll find a waterfall west of the draisine rail(note: you do not need the draisine to obtain the flippers), go behind that, and you'll see something swimming around, get your fish out and show it.

With the goggles, you do need the draisine though. You can find various guides if you look around on these forums as to how to go about obtaining them.  

I don't get it. Players beg, and beg, and beg for substantial content. Then content is provided and suddenly they want to get through it as fast as possible, not figuring it out/enjoying it so they can continue to complain that there's no content.

Not that I'm complaining, but I've always enjoyed randomised quest content much more than static quest content, it presents an actual mental teaser rather than running from house to house seeing if an npc will take your damn scarf which, while it's content, it's not very thought invoking. It could just be me though, I love your work, don't get me wrong, but I'd much rather look up a guide than spend several hours looking for that one npc, it's just boring... My bet is other players have a similar train of thought regarding this. Players may be more inclined to solve quest content by themselves if npcs dropped riddles or something that could give them something more than just a guess.

I can understand for say... selling loot. Then again, it's a process that rewards knowledge of the world. It's not like it's random NPCs taking random items. There's also the notifier... but like I said, I can understand. There are a lot of items and a lot of NPCs in the world. This is why Elster exists.

But I'm talking about the quests, the items... the core content. This is what people keep asking for. "Quests!" I watched when the railroads were released. It didn't take that long for people to piece everything together and figure it out with absolutely no help other than what was in the game and through exploring. The railroads were never meant to be... a huge quest. It was just some additional content meant to make it more interesting. But once you watch players, you'll realize this sort of attitude is very prevalent. A lot of players whined when they didn't get the Zorbi Helmet in the first 15 minutes of diving. They wanted it ASAP... It's not about the actual content, or the enjoyment or playing. They want what's at the end, and they want it as quickly as possible. They don't even try to enjoy the trip. I mean I know that it might not be fun for everyone, but I have a hard time understanding exactly what players want when they say "quests" and "actual content!" If I were to release a dungeon tomorrow, it'd be exactly the same.

A lot of people just don't try. And it bugs me that so many people will read a tutorial and then complain when they do everything in a day.  

I really agree with Dusty. I too I'm ashamed for not actually finding things for my own and rushing everything. But I think that people complaining are a good thing. It means that they care about it. I really think you should just let them complain and let them figure out the importance of actually taking their time. I learned mine when this hat restock event went out. I was so excited and wanted to get all the things so I waited for the restock to happen and quickly buy the hat not caring about the look of the hat. And now I know to take my time, since I wasted lots of gralats on things I wont really wear, because when I go to all the resorts there are neater hats being sold and still on stock.
Patience is the key.

You're assuming they're being constructive in their complaints. This for the majority, is not the case.

I like the substantial content, this content is some of the best Ive seen in months. But Im not a fan of running around the lag-filled graal city and MoD town looking for who to give a rag to. Im going to be looting for a while, since alot of the stuff seems to sell quite good.  

I kinda thought we would be getting that updated version of snow town and a continuation on the item trade quest in time for Christmas any updates on that?

I spent(wasted) around 13 hours to get my first zorbi hat and after that they just kept coming... XD

I dont mean to be the idiot here, but what is this about loot? I havent played classic in a while, but this sparks my interest. What are they? When were they added? How does one get these? I'm very curious as to what this is.

Figuring out the new content with my friends was a blast; you won't here much whining here. Nearly everybody I have spoken to loves the new content; I believe a vocal minority is the one doing all the "whining"
