Kind of touching on what Jatz said, My first inclination when I see a repetitive task is: "How can I automate this?" If I happen to find an easier way to do it, I cannot feel anything but accomplished. Guilt? Cheating? Those feelings don't even elevate. Technically, since everybody has it within them to learn to automate, I cannot feel as though I'm at an advantage because I've acted on my will to make it happen. That's always been my philosophy on it. If somebody's dumb enough to get caught, however, I feel no sympathy. That's just another barrier to entry. |
