I think each individual has their own unique style of leadership but this poll and these opinions will solely be based on popularity.

Shinta hands down. Dominated the tower community at the time where it was the hardest to take towers. Another thing that often gets forgotten is that he did it with less than 25 players. I don't remember ever seeing a noob on a R3drum tag. The thing that probably stands out the most to me is the fact that he was able to keep "pros" contributing to the tower effort instead of just slacking(well maybe just the chicks , they were some pro babes)

I did forget all about R3drum. I add that to my aforementioned list.

Uses 2 accounts for more defense, plus for less "inv me" spam
Jacked my 1k hat for some guild that started with a D I think

Then again a leader is only as good as their guild. Have to give credit to the members of any successful guilds.


Kate, recruited a lot of nubs fast, but afked too much, wasn't very skilled.
Chibi, used his fellow members for more hours, owes me a 10k mount
Shadow, don't really know him. He is NaL's leader, must be successful
Azuka used to be SoN's leader, until he gave it to kate, and later wanted it back...
Santa, don't really know him, except for using words like "scrub" often
Pigparty defended Jailers' members against their sinister leader


Then again, I could never get my VS guild up, since I am too lazy... I'd rather solo 1k hours, than lead a guild. Too much responsibility.  

Pretty much and leader that owns a 10,000 hour guild without constantly sharing leader around, anyone who is this loyal to one guild and this committed to tower with it for 10,000 hours is what my definition of "Best Tower Leader" is.

And anyone who says Beg For Mercy scumbags are should be shot, never met a worse player that constantly begs for you to help in my life.  

I liked the way Someone did things with Ascendancy, Descendancy, and Return so I picked other. My second choice would be Thallen.  

Oh yeah Shinta was great tower leader aswell(even though I hate to say it*rival* xD)probz one of the best.. in terms of not noob recruiting(bar fb vers)  

Someone with more knowledge of this should post a better poll on this. Seems that, as I figured would happen, I've missed a lot.

Why sarcasm, it's a fair answer? I included him because even though 90% of the community hates him, he's still managed to prove an amazing leader, especially sine he's been targeted pretty much since BFM started for the first time.

It's only opinion and bias.
If you are basing your vote on how successful a guild is then you must factor in the difference between a long term guild and a temporary hat guild.
Thallen does hat guilds with loads of hat monkey slaves, does this make him the best?
In order to vote best leader you should have experience as a member in that guild.
Does the leader tower for fun or is that leader so serious treating towering as a job?
Does that leader rage? Does that leader contribute to the actual towering or just leave it to leads?

First, yes I've stated multiple times that this is probably not a very accurate poll, so I wouldn't think it needs to be stated again? We already knew his because anything that ever has the word "best" in it is entirely based on opinion, as the word "best" can be stretched and bent to many, many different definitions.

Anyways, I'll use my opinion (Thallen) in answer to your questions, as far as I know*:
- He does 1k's because it's more logical to tower on a new guild for another 1000 hours for a hat than an extra 4000 hours on the same guild (Yes, I get you could call this hat chasing, but if there's a reward, why not chase it?).
- You don't have to be on a guild to know how good the leader is, you can take others' opinions' if you want (usually when multiple people say someone is good, you may be more likely to agree).
- He towers for fun, otherwise why would he bother?
- He never rages, and most definitely contributes to the towering of the guild.
This is why I chose Thallen.

*This is just as far as I know, I'm not 100% sure on any of this, because this is about someone else after all. Sorry in advanced if I got anything wrong  

Gabe (PiNoY), Chucky (In motion), and Pedro (Hyrule Knights). 2010-2011 was a time when the forts were all hoarded by all the 10k guilds today like Nal, Cj, com, vg, etc. Only other guilds that made it to 1k were basically just admin guilds. I give Gabe , Chucky, and Pedro credit for working against the odds to reach their goals.  

90% of people here are just saying the leader of guilds that they have been in.
