People who actually talk to me understand my logic on things. Everybody else is just too dumb to see my sarcasm. Im nothing like comyt because i actually really cared about the spar community for a long time. But today i really lost hope in the spar community. I really think its going no where and everybody doesn't care anymore until once a season for GST. I just want things to be the way they were when i first started sparring, when I could walk up to anybody and say, your ez. And then we would series and it would be intense asf after all the trash talking between the two of us, and the winner would be happy and the loser would almost go into a depression and end up raging. This stuff would happen everyday on graal and it was great and really drove people to be Ruthless sparers. Now? Everybody sits around and waits for gsts and no matter how hard i try to get people to spar competitively, they all just sit around like vegetables. Thallen, want to hear what i think you do for this spar community? I think you make great ideas, but i think when your online, you do nothing to help. Clops has done so much for graal spar community, too bad he's not the type to tell me "Qes you suck id wreck you". He'd rather just calmly say "Im better than you, if you think otherwise okay" Comyt, you were great to the spar community in 2012, really made it fun. But now your just irrelevant. Really sad to watch you try to butt into conversations when your just not apart of anything anymore. |

People have grew up and matured since you started sparring + people are now more sensitive about there social status on graal which makes them less likely to accept a series request. No matter how hard you try I don't think your gonna change the spar community back to what it was when you started sparring

Like I've said for years, if iClassic offers a prize for leaderboard placements or brings back the hats, sparring would be more active. If there was a singles tournament that used the leaderboard for seeding, just like the GST, sparring would be a lot more competitive. It might be too late for that now though, because the server lag that sparrers deal with in present times is just discouraging. Why are there 200-post GST prediction threads? Why do we have people talking about GST hats for 3+ pages? Why has towering never died out? Ya, because you get little prizes for doing all of those things. On a personal level, I've done my part. I've sparred 44k times, way more than any player that came purely from Facebook, and I wasn't even active until 2012. Sparring just gets boring after a while. |

When GST was once a month now that was when spar was always active. Doesn't even have to be a GST every month though, can just be a small tournement each month.

Or two singles tournies in between gsts. Either way, now that the next season is coming they should really consider not adding a new board, before re-re-re-creating it. Also add the w/l visible in guild profiles, since after gst spar guilds don't really do much. The hit count would be great too. ... a payout at the end of the season for the top placements would be nice. Maybe the stories of changing the guild system are all just lost dreams by now. |

you know what, i actually agree wit t-money on this one, i have literally nothing to spar for, so i'm not sparring and therefore "irrelevant" (can still murder qes anyday lol). the only reason i would actively spar is to unrust and see who is a good enough player to add to a GST team, the only big event in sparring. would be doing this and making sage every time, but i'm in college for every single GST besides this thanksgiving one, which i only have 4 days to prepare for. maybe if i had something else to spar for, you would see me online once every week instead of 2 weeks. but as of right now, all i can focus on as a sparrer is the GST, and in my current life position i don't have enough time for it.

Congrats to the winners but I need to just say that this Gst was on november 28th which is an even number and everyone relevant to the sparring community for the past few years knows I perform better on odd number days. We really had no chance to begin with because of this terrible occurrence.
