If gps just sat in that room, they would catch so much harassment, I couldn't tell you how many times I've been harassed because I'm not straight. Admins need to just sit there because you don't realize how many people walk up to me and just bluntly say " tenchu stop being gay " and I'm just sitting there. I'm not sure what happened to Striken but it wasn't acceptable, he was getting harassed for I'm not really sure the reason, but there shouldn't be all this harassment for no reason.

Yeah seriously, they need to find more people willing to spend their time working as Graal Police. With how grateful we are for all the staff and their efforts, not to mention all the compensation they receive, it's amazing that people aren't signing up from other planets, let alone not working late hours on a holiday.

I'm sure higher ups would love to be able to pull out players from a hat who can be online 24/7 at exact moments when big crowds of harassment are going on, but I'm sure they still don't want to hire just anyone.

Most times it begins small then gradually builds up depending on the reaction given. It doesn't take someone to be on 24/7 to catch them in the act, though just a quick run through the arena here and there will suffice since it's pretty common.

I was being sarcastic throughout the entire first part, if it wasn't obvious.

One of the problems I see here is that people complain there aren't enough GPs but complain whenever new ones are hired. Then again, at least 80% of the threads in the iClassic sub forum are complaining anyway.

I check out the Battle Arena whenever I have the opportunity to check for things like these.

It seems like these things only happen when there are no GPs online in the first place. I can't help but wonder if the people who start these fights make sure there are no GPs online before starting them.

There's plenty of volunteers though, it's more an issue of the application and/or acceptance process being pretty awful (at least in my experiences)

There are plenty of volunteers, but my understanding is that experienced / mature players rarely apply. Those who do probably don't take it very seriously, because they think they are good enough to get hired just because their name is at the top.

Again, sexual misconduct is taken seriously. More serious than wallhacking.

There are plenty of volunteers, but my understanding is that experienced / mature players rarely apply. Those who do probably don't take it very seriously, because they think they are good enough to get hired just because their name is at the top.

Because all experienced / mature players have ban records unlike the gps who just started the game 9 months or so back and have 0 warnings or bans.
