MoD was the original mob pkng. There was countless of players that got over 100k kills just from mob pkng outside mod. Even the inner level was a mob pk most of the time during peak hours with the only difference being that death would result in a outside warp.

Yeah, the pk mob outside the fort was insanely annoying for people who used the tower for its intended purpose. So the area eventually became nonpk, and now Mod only sees a fraction of that traffic. Didnt feel like explaining that in the first post.

This is just further proof people are extra salty when it comes to others getting faster PKS or doing it more effectively

Majority of the time yeah, I've seen her at the gate a few times though but I doubt for the whole day.

Even if she was using really fast and considered "poor" methods by the community, 800k is still an accomplishment

There is no skill in any form of PK'ING, even at towers you are all just randomly attacking one another and praying for last hit

You know, I'm getting pretty tired of people saying that. Did you pk when you were a noob? Have you pked since then? Gotten any better? Congrats, you gained skill. Skill is defined as "the ability to do something well". Well, if you use that definition, pk requires skill. But that is kinda a lame argument, right? So no, I won't stop at that.

If I put it in terms of spar, how come most good pkers can spar well? There's no skill in it, it shouldn't be possible then. Besides, there is also skill about knowing where to go, the best ways to avoid and hit people. If that's not skill, I don't know what is.

Also, towers are not just mobs of players. Go to deadwood. Tell me that's just a mob of players swinging there swords at each other. Often towers are defended by having players on the stairs or something similar. That's not mob like.


This whole argument currently is just everyone reiterating what they have already said in other threads and/or in game.  

Knowledge = skill  

I said I didn't care about the pk mobs before, but it's lame that people who come online and jump in a mob for ten hours are the ones who are probably going to be end up top 3 in the seasonal rankings. Also I agree with Areo, there is skill to pking effectively. Guys like Michael and Areo, who know what they're doing, are always the ones who come up and dominate the flagroom at MoD, not the ones who come up and start swinging around wildly. Then again, someone who pks at mobs are probably going to get more kills anyways.  

Man this style of pk is sure looking like the style of choice for these new end of season rewards.

Couple things:
1. If you see any of the mob pkng "haters" in mobs trying to get the end season awards make sure to take a screen shot and posted.

2. The riot pkng community needs a riot kik chat like the blob used to have.

3. Spread the word my noobians #RiotAtTheBridgeAllDayEveryDay

it's funny like 98% of people who has over 100k+pk got at least 20k+ of their pk is from these pk fest.
just like sparrers who sparred in side rooms til 10k, then spar in streak for 1k and bash on side rooms + act like they were never there once xp
