 That would be pretty cool though. "We take no responsibility for what happens during the night time. We have curfews for a reason." Would fix all the people who want "the purge" to happen all the time, and would be a nice variety for pking. ALSO, this would move a lot of people from being around the same area. They would move indoors, instead of staying outside (which is supposedly the cause of lag). | |

				 | Never said they would. Just that it changing the light, wouldn't cause lag. I think, based on the light orb effect. It's not as if the tone of light will change super fast. Like instant dark, no. Heck, maybe they can even have lantern posts around certain areas to brighten up those areas. AND Maybe they can even have a shop that sells oil to refuel your lantern... too much copy from zelda? So you can take your lantern during the night, and still explore. Maybe even have a fading effect on the lantern showing you that the fuel is almost out. |

				 | This is only semi-related to the topic at hand, but it's something I've wanted to bring up but isn't big enough a deal for its own thread: Let us turn the light orbs down to zero! Pleeeaase! (Fyi there's already a spot in one of the guild houses where you can pretty much create total darkness, so why not just let us move that slider right to 0 and create total darkness where ever we want?) |
