Can we just wipe the server already and turn this game into a mmorpg everyone wants

Obviously they're doing something right because the player count is higher than ever. To the point where it's causing server instability at times (and even despite that it still continues to grow).

To all the people whining and bitching like a bunch of whiny bitches, if you want quantity over quality, go play Era (no offense to Era, I got back into it recently and it's still pretty fun, but you cannot compare it to Classic).

It makes me so mad when people compare Classic to Era/Zone/Ol' West given that they're such different games. Classic has an attention to detail and emphasis on quality that none of the other games have. And like Dusty pointed out, there's been a ridiculous amount of updates over the past month and a half (like that whole freaking Christmas tileset, that looked fantastic! If that doesn't matter to you; If you don't care about that, maybe you're not playing the right game).

And this is exactly why it's all subjective. Because the main update you consider "noteworthy" actually meant very little to me (I mean, I still appreciate the work that was done, but not being a PKer, the leaderboards don't really interest me). Whereas the flag furniture item, while probably meaning nothing to you, means a hell of a lot to me, as someone who loves designing houses and playing around with (and collecting) furniture.

What someone considers noteworthy or not is subjective, and that wasn't the point of my post.

"Classic hasn't had an update in so long while every other server updates every couple of days!"

So I provide proof Classic has had more updatea than any other server and now it's, "but those weren't BIG updates so they don't count!"


I didn't want to post about the scale of any updates because 1) I don't work/play on other servers so I can't say with accuracy what is or isn't a big update and 2) it's a bit subjective. I consider many of Classic's updates to be pretty big. 3) development time vs content time. A minor update from a player perspective could have taken a long time to develop. And sometimes time consuming updates are necessary but add no content. For example, lots of snow graphics and updates had to be made because of Destiny being a new town and had no snow graphics yet. Decorating the entire overworld was a time-consuming update that was well recieved by players, yet had no actual content for players other than atmosphere, hence why I that didn't make the Classic update list.


And what exactly is game-breaking about hats? Don't want to spend the money on them? Don't, but guess what? It's not going to put you at a disadvantage to other players.

Dusty can we please have more hats and furniture



P.s. what if you guys revamped the nyn Magic shop and re released it! I'm sure everyone would love that :p (I miss it a lot okay )

Not sure about the adding any sort of dragon morphs, but maybe there could be a morph of sorts, like a bouncing magic hat, or a bunny mount with a sparkling "magic" trail.
Hell, you guys could just redo the old furnitures and add some new themed hats and I'd be overjoyed. (Pls let there be a bunny sticking out of a hat lol)

anyone else think this would be a great idea? Not sure why it was removed by it was one of my favorite places to go on classic :/
