Well what I was suggesting was less of praising staff and putting them on a pedestal(especially old staff) and more of a motivational tool for current staff. But regardless the rest of what I said applies all around. How would these statues of staff be decided upon who gets one and who doesn't? Only fair way would be a vote and like I said, that's not fair when it turns into a popularity contest.  

No, lol all staff will have a statue no matter if they were fired. Well unless they haven't done anything unless others dont agree with what i said (if they haven't done anything they dont get one)

I'd think rewarding them by creating a rare flag :

Let's not add to the "noobs worship admins" situation already occurring. Their job is to help keep the server running. And if someone isn't nominated, and hard feelings are felt, they might take it out on you and players

For me, having content released to the community you're developing for is the reward. That's why I develop.  

I develop because it's fun and I like when people appreciate a good level :p
