So at my school tomorrow we're having a mock election to see how the student body would vote, and this one student got really into it. I don't know how she got my email but she sent an email to quite a few students telling us to write in George McGovern (dead) instead of the actual candidates... Here's some of it:
Spoiler
I'm calling upon you today to vote write in the ghost of George McGovern - The progressive candidate that we as students deserve.
Our other candidates are a joke. Trump, a xenophobic, misogynistic, egotistical, racist rotting pumpkin. Hillary... Well, she's a bit closer to center and is bound by scandals. Johnson, a disillusioned republican that thinks he's Libertarian because he's done drugs. Plus, his tax plan is a mess. Stein? She's pretty good, but her plan to free students of their debt has several flaws in its logic and understanding of federal laws. And, she was in a neo-folk band that sings about the merits of bicycling and refuses to take a solid stance against anti-vaxxers. Really? Of the 330,000,000 people in this great nation, these are the people we come up with?
That's why I propose a solution: Dr. George McGovern, former governor of South Dakota, and former US Senator. Ever since he ran, democratic candidates have been becoming more and more centrist - Assimilating with the conservative enemy!
He's the liberal, yet reasonable candidate we need to save this country from the small hands of sniveling Oompa Loompas and a chronic liar.
George McGovern is:
-Anti-War (That means more money towards education and infrastructure)
-An avid campaigner for higher minimum wage
-Creator of food stamps and school lunch programs
-Better MediCare and Social Security (which we have to renew quickly!)
-Created legislature that added more jobs
-Believes that workers have the right to strike
-Upholds the Constitution
-Former US Pilot during WWII
-Endorsed by James Earl Jones (Darth Vader's actor), Dustin Hoffman, Paul Newman, Liza Minnelli, Barbara Streisand, Dionne Warwick, Lauren Bacall, and much, much more
-For a "Living Wage"
Can't you see, this is the man that we need to be president?
This mock-election, vote the Ghost of George McGovern to be our next president.
Something that is very important is that you pledge your vote now. In order to get on the ballot, we need to have at least 15% of the electorate. In this case, we just need 170 of you to support George McGovern to get on the official ballot. I will be making petitions to get him on the ballot, and if you want to contribute, email me so you can print out a petition yourself. We don't have much time!
If you're still not convinced - you're a teenager. Rebel against these mainstream candidates, and support our grassroots movement. Vote for George just so you stick it to the man!
KMA AND VOTE FOR McGOVERN!
Had to take out some parts to keep identities hidden but yeah it's kind of entertaining in a way... I'll let you all know how the mock elections turn out

The mock election results:
I don't have exact number, but around 600 students registered and about 400 actually voted.
President: Clinton
Senator: Murray
Governor: Inslee
And all initiatives were passed (only initiatives 732, 1433, and 1491 were on the mock ballot)
Another thing to note in this mock election is that for each of the candidates that won their election, they had a gap between their opposing candidate. Clinton had about 200 more votes than Trump, and Murray and Inslee each had about 100 more than their opposing side.
