What about if there was an area around doors that disabled player blocking at all? It would harmonize this "lag block" issue, and would cause a change of strategy that may equalize some of the exploitable choke points in certain towers... Four or five people being able to hold sardon's tower against any number by standing in a doorway and spamming sword, for example? That's not skill. *awaits negative angry hat chaser responses* |

This is merely meant to fix a very exploitable bug, not balance out forts--that's a much larger problem. |

Edit: Does this apply to players who are attacking or using a different tag to those people defending the tower? Because some players attempt to use android devices and block Sardon's spike room door to prevent the defenders from reaching halls. |

Yesterday I was getting warped out of the halls doorway in Sardon's for just standing in it (which is something that literally every guild does). I wasn't getting warped to the lobby, but to Sister Gertrude's. Not sure if it's this script behaving funny or just an admin not knowing what they're doing. Hope you manage to refine this though. I've seen this work a few times, and it seems to take 5-8 seconds to trigger the warp. It might be better to lower that, but I'm sure that causes some annoying side problems. Would be a huge relief if lag blocking and other annoying tower glitches could be resolved through code. |
