I was in that chance event also, and thought it was kinda unprofessional. Since Leah has already stated that current hat winners couldn't win the game halfway through, she could've just gave it to the 2nd-to-last winner. Probably should add a /rules command along with the /help one to clarify game rules in future events.

Except this is Graal Classic, and apparently players are accountable for adhering to rules that arent written anywhere.

I'm confused. What event rules are you talking about? The only event rules in chance is go inside of a box and wait.

Staff have rules and guidelines to follow when it comes to doing events, those are the rules I'm talking about.

thanks for the response but i wouldn't have made this suggestion if these options worked in the first place..

its pretty much like this:

set PMs to friends only > starts attacking you in public (&more bullies appear)

report > admin asks you to block them

Here is where I would say a more concrete rules for doing events would come in handy, in my personal opinion.

When/where should it be shown how many winners an event will have?(will the final two participants win in chance, or will just the final one?)

When the event is announced over the mass message system. Except in the case of hide and seek, where sometimes it's just how many people can fit through the warper before it's gone...

Unless there's some way to enforce this (filter system was discussed ages ago, along with suggestions about making everyone get a chance to play events) it seems moot point.

Sorta related - I have four colors of the event hat hood... got to choose what color I wanted for each one. Some admins will not give out a separate hat for winners who already have the hat. Some admins (no names) will give you an alternate hat if you already have the one that they were giving out. It's their choice, and no hard & fast rule needs be written out.


Also... Take the gripe thread somewhere else, eh? Minor suggestions was going really well with no drama till the last two pages.

Because, when a problem that only affects you occurs, you raise your pitchforks and never lower it xd

The problem isn't that she denied giving someone a different color of a hat they already had, or that she did give someone a different color of a hat they already had, it's that she did both, in one event.  

a :showaccessory command in the info kiosk and like you said you would do maybe something more like /help or something

Well I wanted a black rose hat but there just weren't any. If you don't got the one they're giving out, you be stuck with it.
