I hadnt fought it for more than twelve hours, waited, and got nothing after the battle,
which was like 97% me, alone on my screen in swamp, fighting the blob.

Me too and I have killed blob every twelve hours in the past two days. Each time just me and blob I killed that burger mof. And yet no spoils.
