I'd say NK is screwed, and the only way you won't get involved in a World War is by moving to Antartica.

If a war between America and Korean coalition were to ensue Korea would be destroyed. Korea has a massive 1.2 million army and over 7 million more reservists. The South Korean and American troops are better trained and armed than a NK troop. Not to mention the Navy has a new Laser shooting shop and America will quickly gain control of the skies. NK has only power on land which is useless when your enemy controls the sky and the sea.

tl;dr if NK attacked America they will be wiped off the map.

Agreed, you know all the families that were torn apart from North and South Korea after the Korean War? They've been torn apart for 60 years just because the U.S. and The Soviet Union had to split their war spoils. North Korea is a perfect example of how true communism can never be achieved.

In all seriousness a war may do better for our economy. It'd give the government an excuse to mass production towards the war effort. Plus if we win which we probably will we'll get to run the show in the North for a bit and perhaps make a few bucks off of it. We could make more money off of that war than Kim Jong-Un made with that catchy music video.

You are using WW and WWII as terrible examples considering that was 70+ years ago. If anything we would be importing more supplies causing more debt.

A war would not help our economy.  

First of all, china is not NK ally. They have peace, but not allies. The u.n will fight together so that's pretty much 50 countries vs NK and maybe Cuba and at the worst possible china. Most likely china would join if we nuke NK and radiation spreads to china. The us has enough nukes to blow up NK 20 times.

I personally never like Sweden, because they always cower behind neutrality to protect them. If Germany would have defeated the U.K. before the us entered WWII Germany would have attacked neutrals like Switzerland and Sweden.

Cower? Perhaps you're not aware of the Swedish Empire or its long history of having to fend off against Russia, Denmark, Norway, and the likes. Just because a country chooses not to actively take part in wars doesn't mean it's "cowering", it's a philosophical chocie.

I don't think North Korea has any major problems with anyone, but the United States, South Korea and countries that supported it during the Korean War.
So I don't see why countries like Egypt or most of Africa which are in the UN too would risk their forces for something they have nothing even remotely to do with and just waste their production.The best thing to do at the moment and in this era especially with all these dangerous weapons is be non aligned which many countries are.
Oh and Cuba already has it's problems, same goes for Venezuela, they're not stupid enough to enter a war with the US and get crushed.

A war would help our economy regardless of the people dying. It's how we got out of the Great Depression (World War I & II). Is it the solution we want to take? No. But if war were to happen, it would definitely help the economy in this way.

You sacrificed a huge amount of men in the world war all the other wars you were involved in.

Right now, we won't really have too much of a choice in having a war. If North Korea starts something, you'd be damned straight we'd finish it.
