The manga has better clarified names for the protagonists Ill give you that. Plus from all the darker stories they've told I guess a manga adaptation would be cool.  

 

Just gonna say it, this was only okay. Wasn't the best thing ever. I definitively think they made Lizardon be X version just so they could. Push the, otherwise Frilly Fairy Reindeer Version. If this was based on the Manga?

What I'd Like to see is GameFreak/Nintendo making an anime series following the characters of all the games, with a new character each season. Thatd be cool cause they could go in depth and maybe even add some story to the hoenn and sinnoh games?

What do you guys think? Would it be cool if they made a similar anime series to origins about the protagonists of games like Gold, Emerald, Platinum, etc. ?

Gold is the One You play as, and Silver is the Rival. Manga info.

Not supposed be long or add every key feature of the game. It has 4 damn episodes for gods sake, doesn't that give you a hint that they want to rush it?

Then they should've done a series, not 4 episodes.

It was probably just created to hype up Pokemon X and Y hence the Mega Charizard. Also time and money.

Don't get me wrong though, I totally agree that this should be a series

Yeah, Im just not super familiar with their official names. Maybe a backstory series on these huge Pokemon wars too, it seems like almost every region we've played through has had at least one story of a giant Pokemon war (Im only not sure on Unova and Hoenn, otherwise Ive found dialogue stating that such happened in every other region).
