If the currency doesnt end up going back into the game in an equal manner that its being produced in, its not gonna work. Thats why eras trading is more controlled, the shells as the main currency is going back into the game for gralats, while our zc arent, they have basically no value after you've gotten what you need from the event shop.

You could make a God item worth 10000000zc. That would lay waste on the whole economy once somebody buys it since that's like 1000000zc from the pool gone. Or not even something worth that much, add in a new ZC item for like 8K and that's at least a solid 100K out of the system which would raise the prices of everything. Or even just make it so missions give less zc. Less money in the pool. Raises stuff up. Ez. Getting rid of ZC would just anger all the rich zonians.

But then wouldn't that kind of overshadow the ZC shop? Also, there's nothing useful in terms of Gralats. The reason why ZC is so successful is because people like setting up their own price. Like if you have a one of a kind hat, it should be your right to sell it for tons. With gralats you get so busy with trying to make it fair with other items. But I agree. Zc should be tradable to cash. Speaking of ZC and Cash, noobs fix the lottery. It's rigged af. |

Thats the issue now, zc are an imaginary value. Graalium tho is a SET value, neaning no made up prices, lower chance of inflation, zc have a purpose again. With idarks and twiz's plans, if we can find a middle ground solution and revolve it around graalium, it will work far better than with zc.

Graalium isn't a set value. Ur naive to think that people sell graalium to reflect how much items costs. Like one piece sells for 25gralats I think at the robot shop. But it's worth like 10. And it currently trades for 3 for 1. So yea. It's not a set value. I even have a hookup that sells graalium for 5 for 1 because I'm their little muffin cake. Zc should be exchangeable for gralats. Not graalium. Because not only is graalium already the easiest thing to get, it wouldn't really change anything. People will still get mad zc and still mad charge for mad hats and use zc to get mad zc items. Mad. The only way to fix the economy is to take out our abundance of ZC. Like I swear there's more than 500k out there. Get rid of it, make it more scarce. Make it more scarce- makes prices lower. Makes prices lower- make the overall ZC worth more. Finally then will something worth 1.2k zc actually be premium. And how do you get ZC out of circulation? Idk. Scam everyone and then get banned with all the zc... Orrr. Give players a way to throw away zc for gralats. |

The thing about the cost with graalium, is that most of these items arent buyable, meaning you'd have to make a price based on whats really fair for it, and with 2 numbers that are set, being the price of the item and the trade in value of the currency, it maintains itself much better, zc having no actual value can't help restrict how much people can charge for an item

I could go out and buy a toy light sabre at walmart for like $40 and it would be the deluxe set that was made very fancy. There's a huge supply for it. But instead I chose to get a custom one which set me back $249. While it didn't even take them a week to get it molded and done, it's way higher. There's no supply. I would say that there are currently 7000 graalium being circulated on zone. If you make that our main source, which by the way is flawed since us players might say "uh no admins. we will now use kazoos as the main form of currency k", the price of it would be less stable than ZC. Because while people do get zc items, it's a one time thing people get. There's probably a bit under 200k zc out there. And for the most part that number stays the same since it's always being made, or being sold. But it's an even export import ratio. With graalium, someone who has like 8000 might wanna sell em. Well that's a lot. It's price will go up. Or since graaliums easier to get than zc, people will get tons and then inflation occurs. Also, one graalium is 10ish(i think) 4200 graalium for a ripper? Lmao. Lmao. BAHAHAHA. Again, we don't base prices on what they are worth. The ripper isn't worth 42k. Maybe on era, but on zone it's like the third most expensive and barely reaches top 5 guns. |
