The same can be said for here in the US as well. Look back on one of my previous posts on why the education in America sucks. Probably has something to do with kids getting influenced by gangs resulting them to get less out of education and maybe more into crime. |

Tbh school is a problem for teenagers. Being pressured to succeed, 7.30-3.30 school day with only a 1 hour break, compulsory after school lectures-study sessions, suggested to study 4-5 hours a night, balance a social/personal life was draining. I was averaging 5 hours sleep in my senior year. Yeah it paid off, but I was essentially deprived of sleep and this resulted in mood swings and more frequent migraines. Maybe that's just private school problems Drugs are a problem too. 1/75 Australian's have used meth in the last 12 months, which is crazy (idk how reliable this statistic is.) 20% have consumed MDMA once in their life, which is as safe as weed... However unless you have a tester kit, you don't know what your consuming; if it's a cap it's more than likely meth and if it's a bic it could potentially be pma (which is a cheap alternative that if mixed with other drugs such as md or ghb could have a life threatening outcome.) |

I agree with Darkk lack of sleep is a grand issue Studies show teenagers have a lot of difficulty falling asleep before 11:30 And for the average teen having to do homework and wake up in time for school which in most places starts at 8:30 is very difficult resulting in most teens sleeping 4-6 hours rather than the reccomended 9-11 hours for teens Don't get it one bit. I don't know why mostly white upper middle class 12 year olds seem to think the whole gang culture is cool. Most people die at a young age and would do anything to get as far from it as they can,its like as if all the 12 year olds tried to dressup as holocost survivers instead and thaught that was cool |

Is there really a solution for that? I mean, honestly complaining about what is in reality a 7 hour school day is kinda ridiculous imo (I work 12s while working on higher education outside of that and am doing just fine). Are you going to cut the school day shorter, cut the already abysmal curriculum that is required? To me it looks like the problem is from outside school (kinda the general bs that comes from being a highschooler).
And sorry for going OT, I'm not Fulgore but where I live there is very good reason to own a firearm. When I moved up to where I am now, just about everyone that I talked to told me that if I plan to go out into the city frequently I should be carrying for my own protection. Being here for a bit now I can definitely say that it offers a much greater sense of safety. |

@Mrsimons you wouldn't need to carry a firearm if everyone else wasn't carrying a firearm I could go literally anywhere in my city, the only dangers here are usualy from drunks stabbing folks to death or hells angels gang but nobody ever feels unsafe walking around downtown. |
