If you pay for the server and get me an account, I'll do all the scripting to finish the project. Summer's starting soon and I feel like working on a project.

Calli is right, it's simply an idea. Sure we have started a tileset, but i'm also focused on Delteria development too. Just an idea folks

Er, I don't think so. Delteria and this Pokemon Rip Off (hehe) are two completely different server ideas, just as Classic, Era, and Delteria are.  

good idea, I don't think you would get any trouble from Nintendo due to not using any of their major stuff. Also, Nintendo don't really look at small games like graal and so who knows how it would turn out  

I like the idea behind such a server though I would have related it to Digimon with a Pokemon 'look' thrown over it.

He's saying Delteria would take away from the people that would play on this server if they came out at the same time. Doesnt matter how different they are.  

Here's a bit of an update on some gameplay: Monsters would be in Cubes that you can find, and you would have to take them to a certain alter and have certain items to unlock them, or something along those lines.  

I like this idea, except for one thing - cubes are overused, make it a Pentakis Dodecahedron! They look cooler.

It would be impossible, everything you'd make you'd have to get permission from Nintendo to use it. Which they probably won't allow it.

my personal opinion on this idea: yes. im all for a poekmon-type server, it sounds really fun and pking wouldnt be as mainstream to other games, not many games have combat mechanics like pokemon. the only two i could name are pokemon( duh) and final fantasy.

Golden Sun (1 to 3). Secret of Mana. (1 and 2 - are there more? Can't remember. There are more, that I'm too lazy to add. Turn-based combat is actually pretty common.
