It's called progressive house. The "progressive" bit is pretty important.

They don't do techno.

I don't really care about genres and I'm not claiming to be an expert on the subject. I just listen to what I like.

Guessing you mean EDM, not techno.

Hmm lets see. I've been listening to Project 46 for house. I've never been that much of a fan of drum and bass, however I like drumstep, which Tristam does a lot of and he's pretty good. Moombahton/Moombahcore doesn't have many dedicated artists that I've seen, I have a few moombah songs on my iPod from various different artists. Not a big fan of trance, believe I only have one trance song on my iPod, Aural Psynapse by Deadmau5 (although I'm not a big fan of deadmau5, only song I have of his on my iPhone). I have too many dubstep and electronic songs on my iPhone to pick favorite artists, but to narrow it down it'd either be Caspa or Borgore overall.

No, i refuse to acknowledge dubstep as part of techno. Why? Because techno music requires ski ll to make. Dusbstep doesnt, how can i say this. Well... Everysong ever now has a "dubbed" version because of some kid with a low grade synthesiser.

You're right. Dubstep isn't techno, techno isn't an inclusive group of music. EDM is, and techno is included in EDM. Dubstep doesn't require skill to make? Okay. You make a song.
