I dont hate Japan, in fact I love its culture, my favourite food is japanese, my favourite childhood games (Yugioh and Pokémon). But it would be unfair to add japanese stuff and not add stuff from other countries.

Okay yup let's add Japanese stuff everywhere instead of the more mutual stylings, and start complaining about how everyone else's countries aren't showed. Then, other countries would needed to be added, or the Japanese things removed.

So, the followings things would also need to be added (in the first option):
- Maori New Year Celebrations
- Waitangi Day Celebrations
- ANZAC Day Celebrations

Okay I'm not good at listing things, but you get the point. Every possible celebration. Including Michael Jackson's birthday. You can't forget that.

Don't start calling them derp and such because between English and Japanese, it's a pretty huge language barrier.

It's like the Japanese fellow asking you all to read japanese and full understand everyword that is being written. Have some respect for the effort this person is making in trying to understand and explain. Buncha thugs.

As for NCJ, I watch Anime a lot, all of which is Japanese. Subtiles are a blessing, stop beating down on them seriously.

Sakura trees are actually pretty damn nice, you'd wish for that **** in your hometowns.
